Ginger, or Layo in the Dusun ethnic language. The gingers are grown by smallholder farmers in the forest in Keningau, Sabah to a maturity age of 1 year before being harvested. Every 50g bottle is pure ginger essence made by slicing, sun-drying and grinding 0.5kg worth of chemical free highland ginger.
Black pepper, or Lada Bihis in the Bidayuh ethnic language, are the matured peppercorn berries handpicked by smallholder farmers and sundried for 4 to 5 days. Our single origin peppercorns from Serian, Sarawak impart a bold, floral aroma and pleasantly refined with citrus upper notes.
