The Borneo Fragrant Brown Rice by Kenyalang is a medium-long fragrant variety cultivated from Padawan, Bau and Lundu areas by the local paddy farmers in Sarawak. It is a whole-grain rice which the outer hull is removed, leaving most of the rice kernel’s nutrition value intact.
This rice is also relatively low in calories, high in fiber, gluten-free and rich in minerals such as manganese, magnesium and phosphorus. When cooked, the rice is chewy and slightly sticky in texture. It is also aromatic and very tasty for its touch of sweetness.
